Personally, 2017 has been a big year. Returning from my final deployment provided it's new challenges again. Fighting lack of motivation, lack of focus. Grad school kept me in the game and pushed through those hard times. I started my job at my old work, but this time serving as Residential Director and overseeing three departments. All the while still focusing on school. During this time I also worked as an Intern at the Plains Art Museum with a fantastic staff who does a world class job at their facility. When I received my masters they were so kind to send me a card congratulating me. It's a kind token that I won't soon forget, let alone the incredible experience they hosted.
So with school done I'm free to be successful or to fade back into the woodwork. It's on me, much like how 2018 will be on you. The question is how do we continue to motivate ourselves to become the better version of who we are today? Or to maintain who we are? Stay positive and keep creating!
